Product Management Advisor-Transportation Product Manager (Transportation)

Location: Hybrid in Memphis, Tennessee or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and work at a FedEx campus several times per week.

Salary: $7,488.36–$12,355.79 per month in Memphis; $7,882.48–$13,006.09 per month in Pittsburgh.

What you will do

• Lead commercial transportation product and portfolio strategies across the product lifecycle.
• Translate Voice of the Customer insights into marketing, sales, and commercial positioning strategies.
• Evaluate market, economic, competitive, financial, and operational factors affecting product performance.
• Build data models and business cases for same-day and alternate delivery models and pricing strategies.
• Define and prioritize new delivery products, geographic expansions, and operational network enhancements.
• Lead complex cross-functional product launches and mentor less senior commercial team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in product management, market analysis, research, or equivalent functions.
• Strong knowledge of competitive, market, and economic factors affecting product performance.
• Advanced fact-based data analysis, quantitative reasoning, problem structuring, and problem-solving skills.
• Expert communication, presentation, executive presence, networking, influencing, and project leadership skills.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Memphis, TN or Pittsburgh, PA and work onsite at a FedEx campus several times per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with delivery cost structures, resource constraints, and operational dynamics of same-day delivery and courier networks.
• Experience using Voice of the Customer data to develop profitable commercial product strategies.
• Experience in same-day delivery operations, transport logistics, courier network design, or physical courier services.
