Automotive Senior Technician (Automotive Repair): Diagnosing and repairing vehicle brake, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, fuel, exhaust, and computer systems with an accent on technical accuracy, customer communication, and team mentoring. Focus on solving complex drivability and electrical issues, training technicians, and obtaining or maintaining ASE certifications.
Location: East Norriton, United States; onsite retail service location. Employment requires completion of Form I-9, and temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.
Pay range: $21.63–$37.92 per hour through a performance-based flat-rate compensation model.

What you will do
- Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Perform general automotive maintenance and tire repairs to specification.
- Explain technical diagnoses and recommended repairs to customers without mechanical backgrounds.
- Assist with and train technicians and mechanics on technical activities.
- Complete paid formal training to stay current with changing automotive technology.
- Obtain or maintain ASE certification in at least three areas from A1–A8 within the first two years.
Requirements
- Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Demonstrated skills in brake and hydraulic systems and/or steering, suspension, and alignments.
- Skills in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
- Current federal, state, and local certifications or licenses where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people, with reading, writing, and math skills.
- Preferred: three years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical training, third-party assessments or certifications, and ASE certification in at least one A1–A8 area or L1.
