Project Coordinator II (Genomics)

Location: Cambridge, MA; onsite at least 4 days per week

Salary: $70,000–$94,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate Center for Human Brain Variation research projects with the managing director, project managers, collaborators, and Broad staff.
• Track project timelines, deadlines, data requirements, logistics, biological samples, sample kits, and storage.
• Manage genomic data generation, reporting, forecasting, quality control, and handoff, including genotyping, whole exome and whole genome sequencing, 10X library preparation, and walk-up sequencing.
• Support data processing and transfers to analysts, collaborators, and data-sharing repositories, including NIMP, dbGAP, and NeMO.
• Assist with IRB documentation, material transfer agreements, data access agreements, repository submissions, quotes, and purchase orders in SAP.
• Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, track action items, and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related research and/or project management experience and a BS in biology or a related field such as neurobiology, neuroscience, genetics, or genomics.
• Experience communicating with laboratory personnel, troubleshooting protocols, and working with data and databases.
• Strong project management skills, including keeping teams, projects, and deliverables on track in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, data analysts, computer scientists, laboratory scientists, and academic trainees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Must be able to work onsite at least 4 days per week in Cambridge, MA.

• Understanding of high-throughput genetic analysis technologies and data management.
