Project Manager, Protein Expression Services (Protein Science)

Location: Fully onsite in Piscataway, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Evaluate protein expression project strategies and prepare service proposals based on client requests and scientific judgment.
• Coordinate scientific, commercial, production, and other teams to keep research projects on schedule.
• Provide clients with regular project updates, troubleshoot issues, and support key accounts.
• Support business development from a technical perspective.
• Analyze market needs and competitors to improve service packages and platform technology.

Requirements

• At least a master’s degree in a life sciences discipline and more than two years of protein science experience; a PhD is highly preferred.
• Solid protein-related technical knowledge, including practical or hands-on experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, coordination, execution, and responsibility skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project elements simultaneously and perform effectively in high-stress situations.
• Ability to work in a bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese environment.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Piscataway, New Jersey.
