Senior Data Scientist (German-speaking)

Location: Germany, remote

What you will do

• Help users discover and master the platform through training, office hours, demos, and consultative support.
• Analyse data and investigate machine learning applications across industries and use cases.
• Provide strategic input to customer and account teams.
• Scope and co-develop production-level data science projects from design through deployment.
• Mentor and educate customer data scientists and other team members.

Requirements

• Native German and fluent or native English
• More than five years of coding experience with Python, R, and SQL.
• More than five years of experience building machine learning models.
• Understanding of cloud architectures, Kubernetes, Spark, SQL, data systems, and platform mechanics.
• Ability to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, empathy, and willingness to share knowledge.

Nice to have

• Consulting or customer-facing data science experience.
• Data engineering or MLOps experience.
• Experience developing web apps with JavaScript, RShiny, or Dash.
• Experience building APIs or using enterprise data science tools.
• Passion for teaching or public speaking.
