Supply Chain Quality Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Remote-based in the Orange County, California area with travel by car and plane to supplier sites; work onsite at an allocated supplier site at least 3 days per week. U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $130,000–$145,000 per year, including a variable performance-based component.

What you will do

• Ensure on-time delivery and quality of standard parts from suppliers and their sub-tier suppliers.
• Assess supplier manufacturing maturity, capacity, capability, and readiness for production ramp-ups and major planning changes.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, assessments, recovery plans, and industrial risk management.
• Initiate and follow corrective, preventive, improvement, and recovery action plans to restore supplier performance.
• Identify and mitigate industrial risks, transfers, planning changes, and design changes affecting hirify.global operations.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including programs, MFT leaders, and final assembly lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar field; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, supplier monitoring, auditing, supplier development, or equivalent work.
• Knowledge of quality regulations, quality core tools, APQP, practical problem solving, QMS, auditing, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification and CPIM certification.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to supplier sites by car and plane.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this U.S. position.
