Senior Manager Product Design - Games (Tabletop Games)

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of new gameplay experiences across family, party, strategy, and trading card games.
• Guide projects from concept exploration through prototyping, playtesting, refinement, commercialization, and final product execution.
• Translate gameplay into intuitive physical products while balancing materials, ergonomics, visual hierarchy, quality, cost, sustainability, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Use player psychology, behavioral science, consumer insights, and feedback to improve mechanics, pacing, accessibility, and repeat engagement.
• Lead, coach, and develop Product Designers while managing multiple development programs.
• Partner with Marketing, Engineering, Packaging, Licensing, Operations, Consumer Insights, and external development partners.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing tabletop, card, party, strategy, or family games.
• Experience leading complete game development, including ideation, mechanics, prototyping, playtesting, balancing, iteration, and commercialization.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing creative teams.
• Experience bringing physical consumer products from concept through manufacturing.
• Knowledge of game systems, probability, progression, accessibility, player experience, materials, tooling, and production constraints.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping commercially successful tabletop or card games.
• Experience facilitating structured playtesting, game balancing, and consumer research.
• Experience with licensed entertainment brands or global product development organizations.
• Familiarity with modern tabletop gaming trends across hobby and mass-market categories.
