Senior Match-3 Designer, New Game

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with office attendance typically required three days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Relocation support is available.

What you will do

• Design, build and balance match-3 levels for a wide range of player skill levels.
• Develop blockers, boosters, rewards, progression systems and gameplay mechanics.
• Use analytics, player feedback and playtesting to refine levels and improve the player experience.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Art to improve level tools, workflows, implementation and visual readability.
• Plan and own match-3 content production for development milestones and LiveOps.
• Lead external level design contractors and outsourcing partners, and mentor other designers.

Requirements

• Experience shipping successful free-to-play match-3 or puzzle games.
• Experience designing LiveOps events, seasonal content or limited-time game modes.
• Strong understanding of progression, retention, engagement and monetization in puzzle games.
• Experience improving level editors, pipelines or content creation workflows.
• Experience leading small feature teams or mentoring designers.
• Ability to work collaboratively from the London office three days per week.
