Mechanical Fitter (Industrial Valves)

Location: Immingham, UK; workshop and site-based work. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, 40 hours per week.

Salary: £28,000–£34,000 per year, including a bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul industrial valves.
• Support testing, certification, and inspection activities.
• Work safely according to industry and company standards.
• Complete job paperwork and quality documentation.
• Support the team in delivering high-quality customer service.

Requirements

• Mechanical fitting, maintenance, assembly, manufacturing, or engineering experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Forklift Truck licence.
• Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, plant, heavy industry, oil and gas, utilities, power generation, or a similar sector.

Nice to have

• Apprentice-trained Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience.
• NVQ Level 2 or a similar engineering qualification.
• Safety Passport.
• Experience with valves, pumps, rotating equipment, pressure systems, or industrial maintenance.
