Specialist, Sales Solutions/Merchandiser (Retail)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. The role involves working in store environments, driving between stores, travel, and occasional overnight stays.

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assess stores for sales growth opportunities and maintain strong store partnerships.
• Execute daily sales and merchandising activities, store sets, resets, and re-merchandising projects.
• Develop product placement, plan-o-grams, educational aids, and visual merchandising techniques to increase customer traffic and sales.
• Analyze product movement, prepare store proposals, support new item rollouts, and maximize product exposure.
• Communicate project plans and status with customer merchandising teams, store personnel, sales teams, and merchandising managers.
• Manage credits, overages, shortages, mis-picks, business expenses, and vacation or route coverage for sales teams.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the food or grocery industry.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and iPad navigation.
• Working knowledge of products, categories, and merchandising techniques, with strong attention to detail and financial acumen.
• Reliable vehicle, ability to travel and stay overnight, and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends when applicable; ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
