What you will do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the EMEA Credit Control & Collections team and ensure service excellence against key performance indicators.
- Drive cash collection performance, reduce overdue receivables, and support bad debt and order hold targets.
- Monitor team performance, analyze accounts receivable balances, identify risks, and implement cross-functional action plans.
- Partner with Business Credit, Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, and senior stakeholders to resolve issues and improve collection effectiveness.
- Lead process improvement and standardization initiatives while optimizing resources, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop team members while ensuring compliance with controls, policies, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Credit Control, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Order-to-Cash within a multinational environment.
- Previous people leadership experience, including team development, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk management, collection strategies, and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
- Fluent English, written and verbal, is required.
Nice to have
- Experience leading transformation, centralization, or shared services initiatives.
- Knowledge of SAP or other large-scale ERP platforms.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
