Vulnerability & Patch Management (Senior) Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Brussels, Belgium; work may be performed from home, a client site, or the Brussels office.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle from discovery and prioritization through remediation and verification.
• Operate and optimize vulnerability scanning, asset discovery, and exposure management across the enterprise.
• Lead risk-based prioritization using Tenable One analytics and exposure scoring.
• Design, coordinate, and oversee patch management processes for a high-uptime trading environment.
• Track remediation SLAs, report on risk exposure, and drive closure with system and application owners.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams while supporting audits and security policy improvements.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of cybersecurity experience focused on vulnerability and patch management.
• Hands-on Tenable One experience, or strong Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, or Nessus experience with willingness to transition.
• Experience managing vulnerability lifecycles in cloud environments, primarily GCP and secondarily AWS.
• Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, networking, and common attack vectors.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and stakeholder-communication skills.
• Work permit sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• ISO 27001 knowledge or certification, such as Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
• Google Cloud Platform security certification, such as Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Experience in critical infrastructure, energy, or other regulated and high-availability sectors.
