Construction Safety Manager

Location: Tan Uyen, Binh Duong, Vietnam. The role involves regular work across construction sites. No relocation assistance is offered. A hybrid workplace policy includes an average of three days per week in the office, subject to role eligibility.

hirify.global's Global Workplace Projects team manages end-to-end construction processes, including production-site expansion and major building modifications worldwide.

What you will do

• Supervise health and safety practices across construction sites and enforce local safety policies and hirify.global standards.
• Support safety management systems focused on risk management, incident control, and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and deliver safety training for personnel and construction workers.
• Conduct inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and corrective actions.
• Lead accident and incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain safety records and advise project managers, contractors, and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a recognised safety qualification.
• Registered and/or licensed Safety Officer under local Vietnamese regulatory requirements.
• At least 10 years of safety experience in high-risk industries such as construction or petrochemical.
• Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, hazard and risk management, reporting, and record keeping.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and related management systems; proficiency in MS Office.
• Advanced oral and written English proficiency and experience with international or multinational companies.
