Senior Associate / Portfolio Manager (Private Equity Fund Investments)

Location: Hybrid, with 2 to 3 days working from home and the remaining days from an hirify.global office.

Salary: Competitive monthly salary based on a 40-hour work week.

What you will do

• Translate market insights and General Partner coverage into inputs for portfolio strategy and construction discussions.
• Lead defined private equity fund diligence and execution workstreams from initiation through investment decision.
• Monitor existing private equity fund investments, identify key developments, structure analyses, and support follow-up actions.
• Prepare structured analyses, drafts, and coordinated inputs that support investment decisions.
• Interact with General Partners and other stakeholders in investment discussions.
• Support the development of junior team members while building leadership skills.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in private equity, M&A, or a comparable institutional investment environment.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating private equity funds, conducting due diligence, and executing investments with ownership of workstreams from start to completion.
• Strong understanding of private equity fund investing, PE strategies, and General Partner organizations.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including financial modelling, with structured communication and presentation abilities.
• Master’s degree or equivalent and a strong academic record.
• Professional fluency in English, written and verbal, is required.
