Software Engineer, GTM AI - Python

What you will do

• Design and build multi-agent AI systems in Python for lead qualification, email generation, meeting routing, contact enrichment, and outbound campaign orchestration.
• Create model-agnostic abstraction layers supporting Claude, GPT, and open-source models.
• Build and operate FastAPI or Flask backend services deployed on Kubernetes with CI/CD.
• Design agent tool-use patterns, structured function calling, multi-step reasoning, state management, and model-failure handling.
• Integrate CRM, enrichment, outreach, and Slack systems with authentication, retries, rate limiting, and data contracts.
• Instrument production AI systems, monitor agent behavior, investigate failures, and run experiments such as A/B tests and model comparisons.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software engineering experience building backend services in Python.
• Production experience building stateful, multi-step AI agent systems where models make decisions and call tools across multiple turns.
• Strong understanding of context windows, token budgets, model trade-offs, structured outputs, hallucination mitigation, and refusal handling.
• Experience testing and evaluating non-deterministic AI systems.
• Strong software architecture fundamentals, including API design, state management, fault tolerance, and graceful degradation.
• Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, external API integrations, SQL, observability, logging, tracing, alerting, and monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, Apollo, Lusha, enrichment providers, or similar GTM and RevOps platforms.
• Background in growth engineering, marketing automation, or revenue operations tooling.
• Experience developing Slack bots or conversational AI interfaces.
• Contributions to or experience with open-source AI agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with ArgoCD, StatefulSets, or advanced Kubernetes operations.
