Solution Architect (ECAD)

What you will do

• Design customized, scalable, maintainable, and high-performance integration solutions between ECAD and PLM systems.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into integration concepts and system architectures aligned with existing IT landscapes.
• Define interfaces, coordinate technical implementation teams, and ensure architectural principles, quality standards, and best practices are followed.
• Oversee solutions throughout their lifecycle, from requirements analysis through implementation and commissioning.
• Take technical project responsibility, support architecture reviews, and maintain solution documentation.
• Support integration, qualification, testing, deployment, and ongoing support remotely or on-site.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter or Oracle Agile.
• Several years of experience with ECAD systems such as Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition/PADS, Cadence OrCAD, Aucotec Engineering Base, or EPLAN Electric P8.
• Experience with traditional and agile project management.
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach to work.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Knowledge of .NET, C++, Java, C#, COM/COM+, XML, Ruby, and related frameworks.
