Senior Software Developer Back-end (Java)

What you will do

• Migrate PHP monoliths to a modern microservices architecture.
• Design and implement scalable Java microservices using Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Apply test-driven development and test automation.
• Monitor services, configure alerting, and mitigate incidents with Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Align technical decisions with senior engineers across other teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and large data volumes.
• Experience developing and supporting large-scale distributed software applications.
• Experience with microservices and cloud architectures, including Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Knowledge of architecture and design patterns, API and data specifications, SOLID, OOP, quality assurance, and testing methods.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2) and availability for hybrid work in Chișinău.
