Finance Sr. Accountant

Location: New York, New York, based at the New York City headquarters

Base salary: $91,250–$107,950 USD annually, plus equity awards, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and region-specific benefits.

What you will do

• Own revenue accounting close processes for assigned areas and interact with business partners and external auditors.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Calculate, present, and communicate revenue analytics and company KPIs to finance leadership.
• Develop and maintain SOX-compliant internal control documentation and ensure controls are properly performed and recorded.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies, ensure data integrity across systems, and improve processes through automation and benchmarking.
• Partner with FP&A, Member Experience, Data Science, Supply Chain, and other departments on accounting processes and special projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting experience is preferred.
• Active CPA license in good standing and education or comparable professional experience in accounting or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting theory and U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with financial reporting, financial statement preparation, internal controls, and external auditors.
• Strong communication, prioritization, multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort analyzing large datasets; experience with NetSuite, Oracle EPM, or Oracle ARCS is beneficial.

• SEC reporting experience.
• ASC 606 knowledge and experience.
