Salary: $117,000–$201,250 per year

What you will do

  • Lead Verification & Validation and Integration Engineers responsible for system- and subsystem-level requirements.
  • Develop and execute V&V strategies, master system test plans, verification protocols, regression strategies, and release documentation.
  • Ensure requirements are testable and traceable from user needs through verification, validation, and risk controls.
  • Design, validate, and implement manual and automated test methods for complex medical devices.
  • Coordinate external testing facilities and maintain calibrated, compliant navigation-system test laboratories.
  • Investigate test failures and non-conformances, drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and support audits, design transfer, and product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of V&V engineering experience in the medical device industry.
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering and product development lifecycles, including V-model, waterfall, and Agile approaches.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or Polarion.
  • Familiarity with test automation and scripting tools such as Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Class II or Class III medical devices, embedded systems, firmware/software testing, or electromechanical systems.
  • Experience in surgical robotics or surgical navigation technologies.
  • CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with sample size calculation and statistical data analysis.
