What you will do

• Define the software strategy and technical architecture for next-generation industrial functional safety solutions.
• Advance modular, scalable, and certifiable software platforms for industrial functional safety.
• Translate customer, market, and application needs into technical roadmaps and industrial value propositions.
• Collaborate with functional safety stakeholders to establish modular, cross-platform strategies and architectures.
• Engage certification authorities and align architecture with compliance strategies.
• Guide development teams from architecture definition through implementation and customer enablement.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in electrical/electronic engineering or an equivalent qualification, with additional software development expertise.
• Deep knowledge of industrial functional safety standards, including IEC/EN 61508, IEC 61800-5-2, IEC 62061, and ISO 10218-1.
• Strong expertise in functional safety application design for industrial automation and robotics.
• Experience transforming technical and market requirements into technology strategies and successful implementations.
• Familiarity with industrial networking, functional safety, and security technologies.
• Strong stakeholder relationship-building, customer focus, communication, self-organization, and independent judgment.
