Application Engineer (Digital Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide in-depth technical support to the EMEA customer base across pre- and post-sales activities.
• Review customer 3D CAD data, 2D drawings, DFM requirements, and RFQs, recommending design changes where needed.
• Develop manufacturing approaches for complex, out-of-process, or replacement-part proposals.
• Advise sales teams and customers on process capabilities, limitations, risks, and fulfilment options.
• Coordinate complex projects with operations, contracts, quality, and process engineering teams.
• Support local trade shows, webinars, and live technical talks when required.

Requirements

• Experience with 3D CAD modelling software and the ability to read 2D CAD drawings.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of plastic injection moulding, CNC machining, 3D printing, or design principles for injection moulding.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Customer-focused, goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems with a strong sense of urgency.
