Data Platform Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; four days in the office

What you will do

• Build product-grade Flink streaming ingestion pipelines using Paimon, Iceberg, Fluss, and StarRocks.
• Own end-to-end projects across the data stack, from ingestion through the warehouse.
• Maintain consistent and reliable daily operations of the analytical data warehouse.
• Provision cloud infrastructure with Terraform and operate dependable services in Kubernetes.
• Support business stakeholders with data requests and use agentic workflows to scale platform impact.

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering and ownership of platform-level systems.
• Experience with stream data processing using Flink, Spark, or similar technologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP and the ability to make architectural trade-offs.
• Programming experience in Golang, Scala, or Python, together with solid SQL skills.
• Ability to collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders and make platform capabilities useful for analysts.
• Availability to work four days per week in the Copenhagen office.
