Project Engineer (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Manage pharmaceutical investment projects from initial definition through construction, qualification, commissioning, and final handover.
• Define project scope, business requirements, work breakdown structures, budgets, schedules, execution plans, and control processes.
• Manage project risks, changes, costs, schedules, quality, safety, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead procurement activities, including tendering, bid evaluation, contracts, vendor coordination, and claims management.
• Oversee construction, equipment installation, contractor safety, inspections, FAT, SAT, technical acceptance, and project handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners while delivering agreed functionality, quality, cost, schedule, and safety objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• 4–6 years of experience managing engineering, CAPEX, construction, or investment projects in a regulated industrial environment.
• Experience with project charters, business cases, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and value improvement.
• Experience with procurement, tendering, contract administration, vendor management, claims, and project risk and change management.
• Knowledge of stage-gate processes, construction, commissioning, FAT, SAT, equipment inspections, technical acceptance, HSE, and contractor supervision.
• Strong planning, leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
