People Services Trainee - German Speaking

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work with a flexible home office policy.

What you will do

• Manage employee lifecycle processes from hiring and onboarding through termination and offboarding for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
• Create required employee documentation and maintain accurate HR system updates.
• Respond to employee inquiries in German and English.
• Coordinate termination and offboarding activities.
• Collaborate with the People Services team to support efficient service delivery.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and implement improved ways of working.

Requirements

• Active university student status.
• Fluent German, English, and Hungarian.
• At least 30 hours of availability per week with flexible scheduling.
• Broad understanding of HR processes and activities.
• Strong communication, organization, precision, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with HR or Human Capital Management systems; Workday knowledge is advantageous.
