What you will do
- Plan and manage product category budgets, open-to-buy allocation, intake, and stock requirements across business units.
- Trade categories in season and recommend budget reallocations based on customer demand, sales, margin, and stock health.
- Set guidance for product width and depth, full-price sales, promotions, markdowns, and price status planning.
- Analyse category performance and end-to-end KPIs to identify opportunities, risks, budget gaps, and required actions.
- Collaborate with product, channel, and supply chain teams to align category plans with local requirements and lead times.
- Guide Merchandise Analysts and support the Head of Merchandise Planning with strategic and trading decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience driving sales performance at merchandiser level with a commercial approach to budgets and targets.
- Experience planning and managing sales, stock, intake, and open-to-buy activities.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Fashion and market knowledge, with the ability to make trade-off decisions between business units.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
