Compliance Operations Specialist

Location: Remote, Estonia. Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00-18:00. Occasional travel for in-person project or team meetings may be required.

What you will do

• Investigate compliance, fraud, abuse, and KYC cases involving voice, SMS, and platform traffic.
• Identify bad actors and non-compliant activity while minimizing false positives.
• Analyze call detail records and aggregate traffic data to detect patterns and trends.
• Recommend preventative solutions based on root-cause analysis and emerging abuse tactics.
• Resolve urgent issues affecting businesses, carriers, and consumers, and support customers by email.
• Apply Twilio Voice, Messaging, and Acceptable Use policies, as well as CTIA requirements.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in KYC, fraud, abuse, or compliance within e-commerce, fintech, or telecommunications.
• Willingness to work a non-traditional Tuesday-Saturday schedule and holidays when required.
• Strong research, investigation, analytical, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and make data-backed decisions under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate with communications partners and industry participants to resolve issues and build trust.
• Must be based in Estonia.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar data extraction and visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of APIs and related technologies.
• Background in telecommunications.
