System Test Engineer Aerospace

What you will do

• Define and review DO-160-compliant environmental test procedures for airborne systems and components.
• Develop qualification test plans covering temperature, altitude, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, lightning, and HIRF testing.
• Plan, coordinate, and support qualification and compliance testing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare test reports, compliance matrices, and certification evidence for EASA, FAA, and military programs.
• Maintain requirements and test-result traceability in DOORS and support audits throughout the certification lifecycle.
• Coordinate suppliers, test laboratories, and certification teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable discipline.
• Professional experience in the aerospace or defence industry.
• Strong knowledge of RTCA DO-160 and hands-on experience with environmental qualification testing.
• Experience developing test plans, defining test procedures, and documenting compliance for airborne systems.
• Familiarity with EASA, FAA, or military aerospace certification processes, plus practical experience with DOORS and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English at minimum C1 level; willingness to meet project-specific security and confidentiality requirements and undergo the required security clearance process.
