V.I.E Aerospace Certification Engineer (All Gender)

Location: Donauwörth, Bavaria, Germany; mobile working is possible.

What you will do

• Certify airborne software and electronic hardware used in civil helicopter systems.
• Analyze software and hardware development and verification plans.
• Prepare compliance evidence, certification plans, verification reports, and other approval documentation.
• Contribute to certification strategies aligned with DO-178C and DO-254 processes.
• Collaborate with system managers, software and hardware engineers, technical experts, and project managers.
• Review compliance data and track certification activities through completion.

Requirements

• EU graduate citizenship and age between 18 and 28 are required for the V.I.E. programme.
• Degree in aerospace engineering, computer engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in certification engineering, compliance, or avionics development in the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of DO-178C software and DO-254 hardware standards and their application in aviation certification.
• Fluent English is required.
• Open and communicative working style.
