R&D Engineer - Prototyping (Sensors)

Develops and manufactures environmental and flow sensors for automotive, industrial, medical, and consumer electronics applications.

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end prototypes for customer validation and new sensing solutions.
• Combine sensors, electronics, mechanics, embedded software, and connectivity in functional prototypes.
• Turn product hypotheses into systems for realistic customer testing.
• Iterate with internal and external customers to refine requirements and reduce technical risks.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and product design experts across innovation projects.

Requirements

• FH/ETH degree in mechatronics, systems, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Solid experience in electronics, embedded firmware development, and debugging.
• Hands-on maker mentality with the ability to build, test, and improve prototypes independently.
• Professional experience level.

Nice to have

• CAD experience.
• Mechanical prototyping experience.
• Additive manufacturing experience.
