C++ Senior Software Engineer (Creative Applications)

What you will do

• Design and build integrations between Cavalry and Canva.
• Develop integrations with professional applications in the Canva Pro suite, including Affinity.
• Own and evolve authentication, including secure connections between Cavalry, Canva services, and user accounts.
• Build and maintain application-side systems for product data and analytics.
• Contribute to the Cavalry C++ codebase across product features, improvements, and engineering priorities.
• Improve complex systems and raise code quality across the team.

Requirements

• Deep experience with C++ in creative applications.
• Experience with real-time performance and memory management.
• Experience with Java for integration work.
• Interest in the intersection of technology and artistry, including how creative tools feel to use.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, shape problems, and write high-quality maintainable code.
• Breadth across creative application technologies such as rendering, text and typography systems, or cross-product integrations.
