What you will do

• Represent Procurement as a business process expert during SAP S/4 Hana rollout and after go-live.
• Support gap-fit analysis, business requirements definition, data cleansing, data validation, and user acceptance testing.
• Train and guide procurement end users and support change management as an ongoing program ambassador.
• Manage purchasing responsibilities for assigned commodities and execute complex buying strategies for timely delivery.
• Review requisitions and supply plans, negotiate prices and terms, expedite purchases, and coordinate with suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Analyze commodity markets, mitigate supply risks, develop new suppliers, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and extensive professional purchasing experience.
• Professional proficiency in German and English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to complete complex assignments, identify and resolve complex problems, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% domestically and internationally.
