Commercial Analyst (eCommerce)

Location: Hybrid role based at GSIQ in Solihull, UK, with attendance required at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Analyse complex business data and turn findings into recommendations that improve revenue, margin, conversion, and commercial performance.
• Partner with Commercial, Brand, Marketing, eCommerce, Customer, and Operations stakeholders to address business challenges.
• Support trading, budgeting, forecasting, commercial planning, projects, and ad hoc analysis.
• Create accurate, engaging dashboards and use data visualisation to enable self-service insights.
• Identify efficiency opportunities through automation, AI, and new analytical approaches.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams while managing priorities, risks, and delivery expectations.

Requirements

• Experience using analytics to support commercial decision-making and business strategy in a fast-paced D2C retail or eCommerce environment.
• Advanced SQL knowledge, including joins, CTEs, window functions, and cloud-based data environments.
• Experience with Looker or similar BI and dashboarding tools, plus strong knowledge of GA4 and digital performance analytics.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, modelling, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to attend the Solihull office at least 3 days per week in this hybrid role.
