Expert HR Tech Solution Architect (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid, office-first model. Regular collaboration across European, APAC and US time zones is required. Working from another location is available for up to 60 days per year depending on the role.

What you will do

• Shape the target HR technology architecture across HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, talent, recruiting, document management, and connected enterprise systems.
• Drive global HRIS transformation initiatives, including platform redesigns, migrations, business cases, project plans, risk frameworks, testing, cutover, and stabilization.
• Define integrations and data flows using REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, SFTP, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Establish governance and control frameworks covering system ownership, RACI, security roles, least privilege, segregation of duties, audit trails, and release governance.
• Translate HR requirements into target-state solutions and lead implementation projects from requirements through go-live.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in HR technology transformation, HRIS, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or HRIS delivery.
• Strong expertise across core HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, talent, recruiting, integrations, and global HR technology landscapes.
• Experience delivering HRIS redesigns, platform revamps, or migrations end to end, including configuration, integration, or migration work.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, SFTP, middleware, data flows, event-driven architecture, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with HR operating models, technology governance, security and role models, internal controls, audit trails, and GDPR-aligned data privacy.
• Fluent English and the ability to collaborate across European, APAC, and US time zones are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude/GenAI deployment, MCPs, n8n, Rovo Agents, and Jira project management.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, PMP, SAFe, Scrum, Six Sigma, or n8n.
