Senior Electrical Supervisor (Clean Energy)

Location: London office at least one day a week, with travel across the UK as required. Fully remote or hybrid working may be available depending on preferences, but regular office attendance and on-site field work are required.

What you will do

• Lead on-the-road hardware maintenance and manage responsibilities related to the company vehicle.
• Plan and lead electrical maintenance in the laboratory, including work on the rooftop solar installation.
• Conduct safety inspections, protect installed equipment, and uphold electrical quality standards.
• Develop, document, and implement an auditing process across the subcontractor network.
• Sign off completed work and support NICEIC/NAPIT accreditation and required notifications.
• Design and test installation processes for new products in collaboration with the Engineering team.

Requirements

• At least five years of electrical installation experience, including at least two years as a qualified supervisor with NICEIC, NAPIT, or a similar awarding organisation.
• Experience with three-phase systems, solar PV, EV charge points, AC/DC wiring, battery storage, and communication systems.
• Knowledge of MCS standards, RAMS and safe systems of work, energy import/export, and G98/G99/G100 requirements.
• Experience installing, commissioning, and fault-finding EV charge points, batteries, inverters, and serial communication networks such as CAN bus and RS485/Modbus.
• JIB Gold Card with NVQ3, City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent, active CPD, and relevant inspection, testing, wiring regulations, and health and safety qualifications.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and travel across the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with Victron, Pylontech, BYD, Alfen, Varta, or Alpha products.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
• Manufacturer-specific inverter and battery training.
