Procurement Manager (DE/NL) & MRO Category Manager (EMEA) (MRO)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; travel to sites and suppliers across EMEA up to 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Manage strategic non-commodity procurement for German and Dutch sites and act as the primary procurement contact for strategic suppliers.
• Develop and implement MRO category strategies across EMEA sites.
• Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ projects, supplier relationships, contract agreements, and commercial conditions.
• Analyze spend to identify savings, efficiency improvements, innovation opportunities, and vendor consolidation initiatives.
• Harmonize procurement approaches across DE/NL sites and align local strategies with regional and global objectives.
• Coordinate with Finance, country teams, category managers, and stakeholders while ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of procurement experience, including at least 5 years in MRO category management.
• Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related degree; an engineering degree is preferred.
• Prhirify.globalciency in SAP is required; Coupa experience is advantageous.
• Experience with low-cost-country sourcing and complex regional sourcing projects.
• Fluent English is required.
• Strong negotiation, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills, with willingness to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Prhirify.globalciency in German or Dutch.
• Experience with Coupa.
