Workday Transformation Project Lead – Program & Stakeholder Management (Workday)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 3 days remote per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Own the delivery and optimization of Workday Reward processes, including salary, bonus, and LTI workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
• Develop programme plans, manage milestones and dependencies, and mitigate delivery risks.
• Coordinate senior stakeholders, HR teams, Workday specialists, and technical delivery teams.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and oversee configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Drive process improvements and support a scalable, product-centric HR technology model.
• Identify AI and automation opportunities while managing multiple complex initiatives and resolving blockers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing complex transformation programmes in large enterprise environments.
• Project or programme management expertise, particularly in HR or Workday-related projects.
• Strong understanding of Workday modules, enterprise data, and systems integration concepts.
• Fluent English and Portuguese with excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with technical teams and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Compensation or Reward modules.
• Background in HR technology transformation projects.
• Knowledge of AI, GenAI, or enterprise automation technologies.
• Experience managing a portfolio of related programmes.
