Technical Solutions Specialist, Geologist (Geoscience Software)

Location: Office-based in Perth, Australia. Regional travel of up to approximately 15% monthly is required, with overseas travel when needed.

What you will do

• Provide expert guidance on Leapfrog, Central, geoscience workflows, and integrated solutions for mining customers.
• Partner with Account Managers and Inside Sales on workflow discovery, product demonstrations, trials, and implementation planning.
• Deliver remote technical support using real customer examples and develop solutions for complex mining challenges.
• Conduct account health checks, explain software releases, and promote best-practice workflows.
• Deliver multi-day training sessions on Leapfrog Geo and Central to build user capability and confidence.
• Collaborate with regional and global technical teams and software development colleagues to share customer insights and improve solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor-level qualification in geoscience, preferably Geology.
• At least five years of experience in exploration and/or mining roles.
• Strong knowledge of geological modelling workflows, including mine geology, exploration geology, resource estimation, or short-term grade control.
• Practical experience with 3D geological modelling software; advanced Leapfrog capability is highly desirable.
• Confident written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Customer-focused collaboration, mentoring ability, autonomy, prioritisation, problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with Leapfrog.
• Background spanning mine geology, exploration geology, resource estimation, or short-term grade control.
