Vice President, Product Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build, scale, and lead global Product Security, security engineering, and architecture organizations.
• Own security strategy, multi-million-dollar budgets, headcount planning, vendor relationships, and program execution.
• Influence product and engineering roadmaps across Product Management, Cloud Operations, Legal, Compliance, Sales Engineering, and related organizations.
• Lead security-by-design, threat modeling, secure coding, vulnerability management, red teaming, bug bounty, SBOM, and secure CI/CD initiatives.
• Direct FedRAMP, CMMC, DoD Impact Level, NIAP Common Criteria, and other regulated-cloud security programs.
• Design and govern security architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and hybrid-cloud environments.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive cybersecurity, application security, product security, cloud security, or security architecture experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience leading Product Security organizations for large-scale SaaS, cloud-native, and enterprise software platforms.
• 10+ years supporting U.S. federal cybersecurity programs, including multiple FedRAMP Moderate and High authorizations.
• Experience with CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS requirements, DoD IL4/IL5/IL6 environments, CUI, NSS, and regulated workloads.
• 15+ years designing and securing enterprise-scale cloud-native SaaS platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Deep knowledge of product security, DevSecOps, software supply chain security, identity architecture, NIST, CIS, OWASP, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 frameworks.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, SABSA, or equivalent advanced security certification.
• Experience as a VP or Head of Product Security, Chief Product Security Officer, Distinguished Security Architect, or senior security executive.
• Experience with publicly traded technology companies, Audit Committees, and Board-level Cybersecurity Committees.
• Experience with NIAP Common Criteria certifications and accredited testing laboratories.
