Vice President, Information Security - Manufacturing Plant Security, Product Security & Application Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote, with regular domestic and international travel of up to 30% to manufacturing, R&D, and plant locations globally.

Annual salary: $250,000–$350,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead global OT/ICS security strategy and execution across manufacturing sites in more than 50 countries.
• Own product security for IoT-enabled and connected digital health products, including FDA cybersecurity compliance.
• Lead application security across engineering organizations, including CI/CD pipeline security, DevSecOps, and governance for AI-assisted development tools.
• Build and lead function leaders and embedded security professionals across global operating companies.
• Partner with operating company presidents, plant leaders, and product and engineering executives to embed security into business operations.
• Establish consolidated risk management, metrics, executive reporting, and communication with audit and risk committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 12+ years of information security experience, including ownership of manufacturing plant, product, or application security in a global organization.
• Experience with FDA medical device cybersecurity requirements, including Section 524B premarket submissions and post-market vulnerability management.
• Experience applying IEC 62443 or NIST 800-82 OT/ICS security frameworks in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline security, SAST, DAST, SCA, and cloud-native application security.
• Experience leading multi-layer information security functions across organizations operating in 50 or more countries.

Nice to have

• Experience in a diversified, decentralized, multi-business-unit organization.
• CISSP, CISM, GICSP, or another relevant professional certification.
• Experience presenting to boards, audit committees, or executive risk committees.
