Director, Access Programs (Biopharma)

Location: Fully remote; can be performed from anywhere. Occasional travel for team meetings or events is expected.

Salary: $177,000–$242,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the strategy and management of Patient Assistance and Copay programs.
• Manage vendor performance, service-level agreements, quality standards, issue resolution, audits, and budgets.
• Establish standard operating procedures, documentation standards, and quality controls.
• Partner with Patient Service Leads to improve workflows, training, escalation processes, and operating models.
• Integrate vendor data into dashboards and interpret operational and patient journey metrics.
• Identify affordability barriers, improve program scalability and efficiency, and inform ongoing enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience, including patient assistance and copay programs.
• Experience managing affordability programs and agreements, preferably Patient Assistance Programs.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance and the regulatory environment.
• Ability to interpret operational and patient journey data to support strategic decisions.
• Strong strategic communication skills for internal and external audiences.
