Director, Competitive Intelligence (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere. Occasional in-person engagement and approximately 20% travel are required.

Salary: $177,000–$242,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead competitive intelligence monitoring, synthesis, and communication across approved products and pipeline programs.
• Gather and analyze competitive developments across hirify.global’s serious and rare disease portfolio.
• Deliver actionable insights supporting brand strategy, pipeline prioritization, and business decisions.
• Partner with Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Market Access, and therapeutic-area Insights Leads.
• Lead projects end-to-end, from intelligence planning and analysis through storytelling and strategic action.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in competitive intelligence, strategic consulting, market research, analytics, or business development.
• Strong commercial and scientific acumen with a hypothesis-driven approach to complex market dynamics.
• Ability to translate competitive data into clear, compelling, executive-ready narratives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional work without direct authority.
• Availability for approximately 20% travel.
