Member Service Representative (Full-Time) - Hale Boggs Federal Bldg-New Orleans

Location: On-site in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States; may require working at or permanently transferring to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance.

Salary: $20.82–$24.19 per hour

What you will do

• Provide guidance on deposit accounts, lending products, credit and debit cards, and other financial services.
• Open and maintain checking, savings, certificate, IRA, trust, estate, loan, and other member accounts.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and other routine transactions.
• Research and resolve basic account discrepancies and member service requests.
• Identify cross-service opportunities and educate members about relevant products.
• Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely while complying with financial regulations.

• Ability to build effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tact.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-production, changing environment.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently and adapt to evolving technologies.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make informed decisions while supporting change initiatives.
• Availability Monday through Saturday, with hours based on business needs.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of deposit and loan products, services, and operational procedures.
• Customer service experience, preferably in banking or another financial institution.
