What you will do

• Drive profit, sales, and performance results while monitoring operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with operating policies.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach Opticians, contact lens sales associates, and reception staff where applicable.
• Ensure high standards for customer service, product quality, merchandising, pricing promotions, and daily execution.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, retention, and development of associates.
• Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish reading and speaking skills required.
• Optical license must be maintained as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, build associate relationships, and manage store operations.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• ABO and NCLE certification required.
