Information Technology Program Manager (Biotechnology)

Location: Tarrytown, New York, United States; minimum 4+ days onsite per week required. Fully remote and hybrid arrangements are not available. Periodic travel of approximately 5% may be required.

What you will do

• Lead large-scale IT projects and smaller projects with multiple workstreams for Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development.
• Plan and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, resources, budgets, deliverables, and progress reporting.
• Use agile methodologies, including the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), to support project execution.
• Coordinate with IT and department managers to track project status, remove impediments, and resolve cross-team issues.
• Define project objectives, align teams around value delivery plans, and anticipate risks before they become issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned processes, products, functions, or systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Professional experience implementing IT systems in a research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or scientific laboratory environment.
• Expertise with technologies such as Planview, Jira, and Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of SDLC and PMO processes.
• Ability to work onsite in Tarrytown, New York at least four days per week and travel periodically by approximately 5%.
• Previous project management experience in a research organization is preferred.
