Full-Stack Software Engineer (Satellite)

Location: Remote - Oregon, United States. US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Clearance are required. The role may require up to 10% travel.

Salary: $140,500–$221,500 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $174,000–$261,000 annually.

What you will do

• Develop and iterate on features for an API-driven, multi-network satellite orchestration platform.
• Build capabilities for real-time situational awareness and command and control of a global aircraft fleet.
• Contribute across the frontend and backend stack as a subject matter expert.
• Design and deliver solutions in collaboration with engineers, UX designers, and cross-functional partners.
• Improve application performance, technology, development processes, and team practices within an Agile Scrum environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications.
• Experience with one or more of React, Spring Boot, Python, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience deploying solutions in cloud environments and familiarity with microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Nice to have

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with React tooling, databases such as Redis, Elasticsearch, or TimescaleDB, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, UX/UI design, Agile development, or technical leadership.
