What you will do
- Coordinate and deliver half-year and year-end group financial statements for the Co-operative Group and Shareholders' Fund.
- Work across internal teams and outsourced providers to manage group financial reporting processes.
- Coordinate the audit opinion, management representation letter, and subsequent events process.
- Prepare the foundations of AFRC, board, and NZX documents and support the group materiality assessment.
- Help embed best-practice financial reporting and continuous improvement across the finance community.
Requirements
- Recognised tertiary qualification and CA membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or an equivalent recognised body.
- At least five years of experience in financial accounting and external reporting or audit, including consolidation accounting.
- Strong IFRS expertise and the ability to coordinate complex work across large teams under strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and solid Microsoft Word and Excel capability.
