Salary: NZD 62,000–67,000 per annum pro rata, depending on skills and experience

The University of Auckland operates a centralised Shared Transaction Centre handling high-volume purchasing, billing, revenue collection, and related finance transactions.
What you will do
- Manage customer setup and maintenance, invoice requests, credit notes, and accurate reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve complex billing and payment issues, including recurring user errors.
- Complete daily banking reconciliations, clear unidentified payments, and process receipt files, dishonours, transfers, and related journals.
- Interpret stakeholder requests and provide advice that supports policy compliance and positive outcomes.
- Support the Order to Cash Team Leader in meeting operational plans and service-level agreements.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation that improve quality, speed, and control.
Requirements
- Experience with accounts receivable processes in a complex, high-volume environment.
- Experience using an ERP such as PeopleSoft and strong Excel proficiency.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to work accurately under time pressure.
- Commitment to policy, controls, and compliance in every transaction.
