Senior Software Engineer, Endpoint Sensor (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $148,000–$222,000 per year, plus benefits and possible incentive compensation

What you will do

• Design and develop core capabilities for endpoint agents across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Build performant kernel-mode components, Endpoint Security extensions, and Network extensions.
• Develop real-time detection and inline enforcement paths that can deny or block risky activity.
• Own features from research and proof of concept through production deployment at scale.
• Build observable, stable, always-on components and integrate agent capabilities with backend and product workflows.
• Collaborate with product and cloud service teams on security investigation capabilities.

Requirements

• Deep production software experience, including low-level systems or endpoint development.
• Expertise in Windows kernel mode or macOS Endpoint Security and Network Extension frameworks.
• Strong C++ fundamentals, including memory management, concurrency, performance, debugging, and profiling.
• Experience with real-time inline enforcement, deny/block paths, adversarial behavior, and evasion resistance.
• Cross-platform development experience across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Experience shipping enterprise endpoint software, including silent installation, automatic updates, and multi-tenant configuration.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Rust or interest in working in a Rust codebase.
• Network-layer monitoring, traffic capture, TLS-aware analysis, macOS Network Extensions, or Windows Filtering Platform experience.
• Experience with data security, DLP, content classification, behavioral analytics, or adjacent detection domains.
• Experience with AI coding assistants and AI-driven workflow security.
