Engineering Manager (Endpoint Security)

Location: Hybrid in Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; or Emeryville, CA

Salary: $278,000–$426,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of tenured senior systems developers.
• Hire, coach, and develop high-performing engineers while fostering ownership and impact.
• Partner with product managers, security engineers, documentation specialists, and engineering leaders to define product vision and roadmaps.
• Coordinate requirements, designs, dependencies, team composition, and process improvements across engineering teams.
• Manage multiple software development projects from planning through delivery.
• Ensure dependable, supportable, scalable, and performant software runs natively across diverse customer environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams, preferably in systems engineering.
• 10+ years designing, developing, testing, and deploying software products.
• Experience architecting and delivering reliable, scalable enterprise solutions.
• Strong understanding of systems-level concepts in Windows, Linux, and macOS, as well as the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, initiative, pragmatism, teamwork, ethics, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
