Lead Technician - Engineering (CNC Machinist)

What you will do

• Provide manufacturing leadership and hands-on technical expertise for prototype machine components.
• Set up machining operations and program CNC tool paths.
• Interpret engineering models and drawings and execute design intent.
• Manufacture high-quality prototype parts to required specifications.
• Plan and create holding fixtures, select cutting tools, and secure materials on shop equipment.
• Collaborate with the team while maintaining quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of machine shop experience required.
• Strong knowledge of modern machining processes and conventional machining tools.
• Experience programming CNC machines, entering design specifications, and adjusting machine settings to optimize quality and accuracy.
• Experience with manual equipment such as Bridgeport mills and tool room lathes.
• Experience with TRAC CNC equipment.
• Working knowledge of current CAD software packages and common file types; technical school education is preferred but not required.
